Back Safety Training

Crane Safety Awareness for the Site Superintendent
By US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. This web-based video discusses some of the hazards and risks involved in crane operations. It identifies information managers should be familiar with if cranes are operating on their site.

Employee Training Kits
By Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Training Kits for customizing to meet training requirements in Washington State WISHA Rules. Includes instructor's guide, slide shows and other materials.

Forklift Safety and Operation Training
By Instructional Designs. An interactive training course on forklift safety and operation with test questions. Training manager screens are also available.

Lockout/Tagout
By US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. This program includes three major components. A tutorial is provided and explains the standard in a question/answer format. The hot topics component contains five abstracts with a detailed discussion of major issues and links to relevant highlighted sections of the all-inclusive documents. The interactive case studies component includes seven simulated LOTO inspections.

Machine Guarding eTool
By US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. This eTool focuses on recognizing and controlling common amputation hazards associated with the operation and use of certain types of machines.

NIOSH Ladder Safety App
By National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). The Ladder Safety App, aimed at improving extension ladder safety, features a multimodal indicator and a graphic-oriented guide for ladder selection, inspection, positioning, accessorizing, and safe use. Available for iPhone/iPad or Android mobile devices.

Prevention Videos: Construction Hazards

Scaffolding eTool

Steel Erection eTool
By US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. This eTool has been created to educate employers and workers about OSHA's revised steel erection standard (Subpart R).

Underground Electric Safety
By US Mine Safety and Health Administration. Discusses some of the more common types of electrical hazards that may be found in underground mines. Consists of a video and Powerpoint presentation.
